I collaborated with the talented interior designer Briony Ace to create a Shopify store that reflects her distinctive interior design style.

Having been a contestant on the latest series of Interior Design Masters on the BBC, I’ve been boasting that Briony is a celebrity… because that means I work with celebrities now! (The humble Briony isn’t so sure on the title.)

Project Highlights:
- Built on Dawn, customised to the individual brand requirements. Look and feel was everything for this build.
- To keep costs low, I set up Shopify Mail to communicate with Briony’s sign-up list. The launch was timed to coincide with the final episode of Interior Design Masters, generating maximum hype and hundreds of website visits in the first few hours.
- Prepared the website for the launch of Briony’s Vintage Finds, allowing customers to make purchases.
- Consulted on digital marketing approaches to nail launch comms.

Some learnings from this project:
- If meeting at a coffee shop to run through anything, be sure they have plug sockets, WiFi, and good food and drink. We went to Amici in Horsham and worked over lunch, and it’s sure to be a regular go-to! (Sorry to everyone I met previously at the local Greene King pub.)
 - Dawn can achieve a great deal, even for specific design requirements. (I am now working with the new Horizon themes and loving them so far.)
- Be flexible with launch dates, as proper preparations and timing can often make a significant impact.
- ChatGPT helped me out massively, but also overcomplicated a few bits. Overall, AI development assistance was a plus.
